Upon the death of Kate Alice Goodman's brother, R.W. Goodman--following World War II and 44 years after her marriage to Joseph Kenichi Inazawa--she is noted as a survivor and living in Kamakura, Japan. They saved her, but unfortunately I know no other details. Since this side of my family lived in Stafford County, Kansas (where Kate Goodman Inazawa's brother is buried) and Kate Inazawa was a student at the same university where my Great-Aunt Ida Long Goodman was a student, I believe the Kate Goodman my grandfather got out of Japan during WW2 may have been Kate Inazawa. Since my grandfather served in the Pacific theatre and was scarred by the war there, the fact that she was married to a Japanese man may have been purposefully left out of the story. I'd be interested in hearing from anyone who could add any information to this story. Jessiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03651276792780847232noreply@blogger.com
